Programme-file problem

A case pack that is only read is not yet practised.

Programmes already have the file: the case, the brief, the reading. The missing step is an attempt against that file—not another upload into a content library.

Documents accepts one PDF, DOCX, or text file. When it is ready, generate a Story Quest, a Socratic AI Interview, or a Study Session grounded in that source. Faculty and Learning Designers still write the outcome and open the trail.

Boundary: one file only—multi-document synthesis is off; the record is practice evidence, not certified competence.

The loop

• Upload and wait until ready

  Lock one programme PDF, DOCX, or text file—and one reviewer who will open the attempt. Upload through Documents and wait until the product marks it ready. Output: a scope note for that file only; no folder dump and no second curriculum.

• Generate one practice mode

  From the ready file, generate a Story Quest for a constrained choice, a Socratic AI Interview when they must explain under follow-up, or a Study Session when context still comes first. One mode for this sitting—not a catalogue walkthrough.

• Sit the attempt against the source

  Learners choose, explain, or respond against that named file under stated conditions. Require the attempt in their own words—not a polished paste from another tool, and not “opened the PDF” as a proxy for practice.

• Inspect, name the gap, decide

  Your reviewer opens a sample between sessions and asks whether the trail shows a decision or explanation the unread file never produced. Name the gap in the learner’s words, then keep the loop, retune the mode, or stop.
