How is this different from interview practice?
Interview practice is the explain-and-share loop. This page adds Study Rooms so a named cohort sits the same sequence.
Cohort problem
Run a join-by-code group that sits Interview Sequences together, then inspect attempts. Distinct from one-to-one coaching and from the interview-practice problem page.
Built for: Career services teams
Interview practice is the explain-and-share loop. This page adds Study Rooms so a named cohort sits the same sequence.
They issue the code and inspect a sample. They do not have to be in every seat.
No. Career Coaches is one-to-one. This is a career-office cohort.
No. It is practice order, not a hiring rank or placement score.
Yes. Use the interview-practice page. Add a room when you have a cohort code to issue.
Cohort problem
Career offices already have groups. The missing piece is a room they can join and a sequence they sit in the same order—so staff can sample attempts without sitting in every seat.
Study Rooms are join-by-code. Interview Sequences chain interviews. Socratic AI Interviews are the stage inside that sequence. Shared Footprint is how a learner shares selected evidence with staff.
Career Services Teams is who runs the office. Interview practice is the problem without the room. This page adds the cohort. The record is practice evidence. It is not a hiring score.
Fit check
If you only need one learner to rehearse alone, use the interview-practice page. This page is for a named cohort with a code to issue.
Offices that already have a named cohort and need a shared practice slot before the drive—not another private mock with no sample trail.
Leads who want the same Interview Sequence order across the group, then a sample of Shared Footprints between appointments.
One-to-one coaching only (see Career Coaches), employer screening stamps, LMS replacement, placement-rate theatre, or ranking the group for recruiters.
What you get
Issue a Study Room code for this group only. Fourteen to twenty-one days—not a campus-wide roll-out or Gem-first path.
Learners join the room and sit stages in the same order. Staff do not need to be in every seat.
Attendance, follow-up attempts, revisions, and honest gaps—enough for a human sample review, not a placement score.
A readout at the end. Retune the sequence or sample rule before you expand seats—or stop if reviewer load is not worth it.
The loop
Create a Study Room with a join code for this cohort only. Name the designated reviewer, cohort size, and the success question you will answer at readout. Output: a one-page scope sheet and the code to issue.
Publish an Interview Sequence that matches the live process—each stage a Socratic AI Interview under follow-up. Require a short prep note before the first sitting so the room is not a paste-in theatre.
Learners join by code and sit the stages. Staff do not need to be in every seat. Your reviewer opens 10–15 Shared Footprints between appointments—look for attempt, follow-up, named gap, and whether you would coach from this trail.
Three questions only: Did the cohort practise the same order with inspectable follow-ups? Was reviewer load tolerable? Keep the room-and-sequence design, change stage order or sample rule, or stop. Write the sentence into your notes.
Capabilities in this loop
Join-by-code. Starts a Study Session for the named group—this cohort only.
Stages in a planned order that matches the live interview process.
Each stage is an explanation under follow-up—not a scripted quiz.
Selected evidence when a learner shares with staff—including gaps.
Boundary
Who joined the room and sat a stage—enough to see whether the shared slot was used, not a board-slide percentage.
Follow-up answers from the sequence, with revisions and named gaps when learners share footprints with staff.
Not a placement score. Staff still coach. Employers still decide. Many pilots start with named accounts before SSO.
ProfilEd records cohort interview practice. It does not certify competence, rank the group for employers, predict placement %, or treat the record as recruiter-auditable proof. Humans interpret Shared Footprint—including gaps.
Evidence rule
Join-by-code room for one cohort; sequence order matched to the live process; attempt → feedback → revision; sample Shared Footprints with honest gaps; human interpretation.
Completion %, time-on-platform, or “AI confidence” as competence; ranking the group for employers; claims that two weeks raise placement % or verify programme-wide readiness.
LMS/SIS replacement, campus-wide rollout on day one, employer screening as the product, one-to-one coaching as the primary job (use Career Coaches), invented brochure percentages.
Write one sentence at readout: expand next cohort; retune sequence or sample rule; or stop. Stopping is success if it prevented a bad annual licence.
