What do participants actually do?

They choose under constraint, explain the trade-off, and answer a follow-up. Then they or the programme decide what to share.

Does a footprint prove leadership competence?

No. It is evidence of practice. Programme faculty and coaches still interpret it.

How is this different from business schools?

Completion is easy to count. Judgement is harder to inspect.

An executive module often ends with a slide, a discussion, and a certificate of attendance. The work that matters is the call made with incomplete information, in front of peers, after someone pushes back. Story Quests put that call under constraint. Socratic AI Interviews ask the participant to explain it again. Shared Footprint is how selected attempts are shared for review.

This is not an LMS replacement. Attendance, content, and the programme's own assessment stay where they are. The record is practice evidence. It is not certified competence.
