For TPOs / placement cells

Cohort Socratic practice + Shared Footprint review—responsible evidence, not a fake readiness score.

Claim boundaries

  • >-
  • Student vs corporate Day-1 readiness gaps are large (HirePro 2026: 68% vs 9%).
  • Skills-first claims and CGPA reality still diverge on campus (HirePro; Deloitte; NACE).
  • A focused pilot is 1 capability × 1 cohort × 1 reviewer × bounded days with Shared Footprint sample review.
  • A ProfilEd activity is an observed attempt under stated conditions—not a placement-rate promise.

Common questions

Will this raise our placement %?

We will not invent that claim. The pilot asks whether footprints show follow-up behaviour your current artefacts miss—and whether reviewer load is tolerable.

Do we need campus-wide SSO on day one?

Many pilots start with named accounts. Bring IT when you need SAML/OIDC, LTI, or roster sync.

Is this a content-library replacement?

No. Libraries remain for exposure; ProfilEd is rehearsal after the video. Human mocks remain gold for high-touch coaching.

How big should the first cohort be?

One section or one branch is enough. One capability, one reviewer, bounded days—then keep / change / stop.

For TPOs / placement cells

You don’t need another question paper. You need to see follow-up under pressure.

Before the drive: can the cohort handle the second and third question—or only the rehearsed opener? CGPA cut-offs and course completions will not answer that. Inspectable interview attempts might.

HirePro’s State of College Hiring in India 2026 (market context): 68% of students vs 9% of corporates on Day-1 readiness; 96% of colleges believe hiring is already skills-first while 21% of corporates say they have fully moved beyond CGPA. If employers test skills in the interview, the prep layer should produce interview-attempt evidence, not only cut-off lists.

Fit check

Who should buy — and who should walk away.

No fake placement %. No single “verified competence score” sold to employers. Stopping a bad annual licence is success.

  • Career Services & placement cells

Directors who need interview follow-up evidence before the next drive—not another completion report or question paper.

  • Programme leads

Want learners to rehearse under pushback, then show a Shared Footprint trail to a human reviewer between appointments.

  • Wrong buyer jobs

Employer screening stamps, LMS replacement, credential wallets as the primary deliverable, placement-rate theatre, VR interview theatre, or stealth live copilots.

What you get

A bounded cohort trial that leaves inspectable evidence.

  • One capability × one cohort × one reviewer

    Typically interview follow-up for 14–30 days—not a campus-wide catalogue walkthrough or Gem-first path.

  • Socratic AI Interviews at cohort scale

Learners answer first under stated conditions. Optional Curriculum Graph goals so practice attaches to a competency, not a random prompt dump.

  • Shared Footprints with gaps

Selected attempts, feedback used, revisions, and what is still missing—accepted, missing, or not assessed—for sample review.

  • Keep / change / stop

A readout at the end. No pressure to expand seats before you have seen the sittings and judged reviewer load.

The offer

Bounded cohort practice + Shared Footprint reviewers can open.

Pilot framing: 1 capability × 1 cohort × 1 reviewer × bounded days → keep / change / stop.

Start with interview follow-up. Students sit Socratic AI Interviews. Attempts land in Shared Footprint. A designated reviewer sample-reads footprints between appointments.

Claim boundary: A ProfilEd activity is an observed attempt under stated conditions. It does not universally verify competence or predict placement.

  • Scope lock

Name capability, cohort size, reviewer, and success question. Access goes live for that cohort only—output a one-page scope sheet.

  • Practice runs

Students complete 2–3 sittings with a short prep note required first. Reviewer opens a sample of footprints, not every file.

  • Readout questions

Did footprints show follow-up behaviour your current artefacts miss? Was reviewer load tolerable? Keep, retune, or stop?

  • Complement, don’t replace

Content libraries stay for exposure; human mocks stay gold for high-touch coaching. ProfilEd is the rehearsal layer between scarce mentor slots.

First fortnight

Fourteen to thirty days, then a written keep / change / stop.

  • Days 1–3 · Scope lock

Name one capability (often behavioural follow-up), cohort size, designated reviewer, and the success question you will answer at readout. Map an optional Curriculum Graph path. Access goes live for that cohort only—output a one-page scope sheet.

  • Days 4–7 · Prep expectation + first sittings

Require a short prep note before the first simulation—preparedness before the mock predicts usefulness (Wilkie & Rosendale, 2024). Students begin Socratic AI Interviews; learner answers first under stated conditions.

  • Days 8–18 · Practice runs + sample review

Each learner completes 2–3 sittings. Your reviewer opens 10–15 Shared Footprints between appointments—look for attempt, follow-up, named gap, and whether you would coach from this trail.

  • Days 19–30 · Review and decide

Three questions only: Did footprints show behaviour your current artefacts miss? Was reviewer load tolerable? Keep the capability, change the prompt bank or sample rule, or stop. Write the sentence into your notes.

Boundary

A ProfilEd activity is an observed attempt under stated conditions.

  • Sample trail

Selected cohort attempts with feedback, revisions, and honest gaps—enough signal to judge the pilot without inventing a brochure percentage.

  • Stack fit

Many pilots start with named accounts—no campus-wide SSO required to see whether sittings work. Bring IT when you need SAML/OIDC or LTI.

  • Legal baselines

Privacy policy, DPDP notice, and terms live on the site. HECVAT available on request if counsel requires it—do not assume a completed questionnaire until you receive it.

  • Not a hire/no-hire stamp

Shared Footprint is inspectable; humans interpret it—including gaps. It does not certify workplace competence, predict placement %, or replace employer screening.

Evidence rule

What counts in this pilot — and what does not.

  • Counts

Stated conditions; attempt → feedback → revision; gaps marked honestly; human interpretation of the Shared Footprint; reviewer load you can sustain between appointments.

  • Does not count

Completion %, time-on-platform, or “AI confidence” as competence; polished answers pasted in; claims that two weeks verify programme-wide readiness or raise placement %.

  • Out of scope

LMS/SIS replacement, campus-wide rollout on day one, employer screening as the product, credential wallets as the primary deliverable, invented board-slide percentages.

  • How to read a footprint

Did the student answer under a real follow-up? What gap did feedback name? What is the next sitting? If the file is only a score screenshot, it is not enough for coaching.
